If your people work in Houston, they are not all in one place. Kemp Photography solves that by setting up a full portable studio inside your office and photographing the team in short, back-to-back sessions. Half-day and full-day rates are flat, and travel is already in the price.

Why Houston teams book an on-site headshot day
Houston is a big-company, big-project town. Energy is the headline: oil and gas operators, midstream and pipeline companies, oilfield services, and the engineering firms that design everything they build. Next to it sits the Texas Medical Center, one of the largest medical complexes anywhere, with hospitals, research groups and the vendors that serve them. Add the Port of Houston and petrochemical shipping, aerospace work connected to NASA's Johnson Space Center near Clear Lake, and a deep bench of law, accounting and consulting firms.
Those mixes shape what a good headshot has to do:
- Energy and engineering: bids and technical proposals ask for team bios with photos, and clients want to see who is on the project.
- Medical and research: faculty pages, department directories and grant materials need current, matching portraits.
- Law and professional services: attorney bios and partner pages get checked first by prospects.
- Logistics and trade: sales teams use headshots on email signatures and carrier directories.
Project work also means constant churn. Teams ramp up for a contract, shift, then ramp again. A headshot day timed to a new project kickoff keeps the proposal team photographed once, together, with the same light.
How a headshot day works in a Houston office
Houston buildings come in two types. Downtown and Galleria towers have security desks, loading dock windows and freight elevators. Energy Corridor, Westchase and The Woodlands campuses have easy parking and long walks between buildings. Both are routine for us.
The day follows a simple path:
- Book. Pick a date and put down the 50% retainer to reserve it.
- Pick the room. A quiet space about 10 by 20 feet with one outlet is all we need.
- Load in. The crew arrives about an hour before the first session and builds the studio.
- Shoot. Two to three minutes in front of the camera per person.
- Choose. People see their frames instantly or in a private gallery and pick one.
- Receive. Retouched finals typically arrive within one to two weeks.
If your office is downtown, you may be able to reach a conference room through the tunnel system or lobby without a street walk. In either case, we place the studio where people pass anyway. If your building manager needs paperwork, a certificate of insurance is available on request.
What does a corporate headshot day cost in Houston?
Kemp Photography prices by the day, not the head. Half Day is $3,600 and Full Day is $4,850, and the travel from Orange County is in the rate. A Houston office pays the same whether it sits in the Galleria or out in Katy.
| Package | Flat rate | Typical headcount | Illustrative cost per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| Half Day | $3,600 | ~50–60 people | ~$60–$72 |
| Full Day | $4,850 | ~150–250 people | ~$19–$32 |
| Multi-set or multi-day | Quoted | Campuses, multiple buildings | Quoted after a short call |
The per-person column is illustration only. Picture a 200-person engineering group: one full day, about $24 a head. Usage rights come with the work, so the company and every person pictured can use their headshots for commercial purposes with no extra fees.

If your address is not listed, send it over. Greater Houston is within our travel-to-you range.
Multi-office companies with a Houston location
A lot of Houston offices answer to a headquarters somewhere else, or run satellite offices in Midland, Dallas or Austin. When each location hires a different photographer, the website ends up with three styles of portrait.
Kemp Photography keeps the lighting and backdrop recipe identical from site to site and sends the same lead photographer when the calendar allows. We have done this at scale: Sentry Insurance had 552 headshots made across offices in 12 states in about a month. Houston simply becomes one more stop on a route like that, with the same Kemp-trained crew and no local subcontractors.

Houston headshot day FAQ
What does a Houston corporate headshot day cost? Two flat prices. Half Day is $3,600 for about 50 to 60 people, and Full Day is $4,850 for about 150 to 250. We fly or drive the crew from Orange County and that cost is already inside the number. Anything bigger, like a multi-building campus, is quoted as extra sets or extra days.
Can you photograph engineers and field staff who are rarely in the office? Yes, if you give us a window. Many Houston teams pick a day when rotations overlap, then we run the schedule in short slots so field people can step in, shoot and step out. Staff who miss it can join a short follow-up day later.
We are in a downtown tower. What does building management need? Usually a load-in time and a certificate of insurance, which is available on request. We need a quiet room of about 10 by 20 feet with an outlet. Send us the building's rules when you book and we plan around them.
Do you cover The Woodlands and Sugar Land, or only the Loop? We cover the whole metro. Houston is spread out, so we ask where each office sits and plan the days to avoid cross-town drives at rush hour. Two sites in one trip is common, such as a morning in the Energy Corridor and an afternoon in Greenway Plaza, with identical lighting at both.
How soon after the shoot do we get final headshots? Retouched finals typically arrive within one to two weeks of the shoot. Your people pick their favorite right after their session, either on screen or in a private online gallery, and the company gets a roster page showing every selection, which saves HR or marketing from chasing individual files.
Who actually shoots our team? Kemp Photography's own internally trained crew, led by a Kemp photographer. We do not hire local freelancers or subcontract the work, so the look matches our other jobs and your other offices. The same people who learned our lighting and posing process are the ones in your conference room.
Also serving Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth and Atlanta.
