Kemp Photography brings a full portable studio to your Charlotte office and photographs your team in a single day. Half-day and full-day flat rates, travel included. Our own trained crew arrives from Orange County, sets up in one room, and works through your headcount back to back.

Why Charlotte teams book an on-site headshot day
Charlotte is one of the country's major banking centers, and almost everything else in the city grows around that. Large banks, wealth managers and asset-servicing firms fill Uptown. Fintech and payments companies sit beside them in South End. Energy and utilities have a long presence here. Healthcare systems and professional-services firms add to the daytime population, and the motorsports industry has a stronghold in the region, particularly north of the city.
For a bank or wealth firm, headshots show up on advisor pages, client decks and regulatory-adjacent bios that need to look current. For a fintech startup, they appear on a hiring page, investor materials and conference speaker profiles. An energy company wants leadership and field managers on the same page of its website. A consulting firm needs each manager consistent before the next proposal.
The pain point is the same everywhere. Three hundred people do not all have time for a studio. One day on site works.
How a headshot day works in a Charlotte office
Uptown towers run on process. You can expect a loading dock, a freight elevator reservation and guest registration at a security desk. We ask for the rules in advance, and a certificate of insurance is available on request for property management.
South End offices tend to be newer mixed-use buildings, some of them former mills or warehouses now converted to creative space. Parking is a question there, so tell us where the crew should unload. SouthPark and Ballantyne buildings often have easier parking and a short walk from the lot to a conference room. University City and Lake Norman campuses are bigger and spread out, so confirm the entrance and the route.
How the day runs:
- A 50 percent retainer reserves the date.
- We agree on the room: roughly 10 by 20 feet, with power.
- The crew builds the set about an hour before the first employee arrives.
- Each person gets two to three minutes at the camera.
- They see images right away and choose a favorite from a private gallery.
- Retouched finals typically come back in one to two weeks, with a roster page for your team lead.

What does a corporate headshot day cost in Charlotte?
In Charlotte, the Half Day is $3,600 for about 50 to 60 people and the Full Day is $4,850 for about 150 to 250. Orange County travel is inside the rate; there is nothing to add for the trip east.
| Package | Flat rate | Typical headcount | Illustrative cost per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| Half Day | $3,600 | ~50 to 60 | about $60 to $72 |
| Full Day | $4,850 | ~150 to 250 | about $19 to $32 |
| Multi-set or multi-day | Quoted | Larger teams | Depends on scope |
Think of the per-person numbers as a way to compare options, not a price list. For a Charlotte business with 150 or more people across a few floors, a single full day is the efficient move.

Multi-office companies with a Charlotte location
Many Charlotte offices belong to companies with headquarters elsewhere, or the reverse. A page of faces should still look like one organization.
That is what Kemp Photography did for Sentry Insurance: 552 headshots across offices in 12 states in about a month, all on the same recipe. We have worked nearby, including a two-day visit to Nashville in 2025. For Charlotte itself we are a travel-to-you crew from Orange County, not a local studio.

Charlotte headshot day FAQ
How much do corporate headshots cost for a Charlotte office?
Half day: $3,600, roughly 50 to 60 people. Full day: $4,850, roughly 150 to 250. Both are flat rates with travel from Orange County included, so Uptown, Ballantyne and Lake Norman cost the same. Teams bigger than one full day get a multi-set or multi-day quote.
Can you shoot in an Uptown tower?
Yes. We need one quiet room of about 10 by 20 feet and an outlet. Most Uptown buildings want a freight elevator booking and a loading window, and some ask for a certificate of insurance, which we provide on request. Share the building's process when you book.
Do you work with banks and compliance-heavy firms?
Yes. Tell us how guests are badged and escorted, and we plan around it. A conference room near the lobby is often the simplest space. Your own team keeps control of who comes and goes while we set up and photograph.
Can one visit cover Charlotte and a South Carolina office?
Often. Fort Mill, Rock Hill and Charlotte are close enough for a crew to work both over consecutive days. Send the headcount at each site and we will price the combination as a multi-office plan.
How soon can we get a date?
It depends on the week, and a 50 percent retainer is what reserves it. Quarter-end and year-end weeks get requested first, so if your company has a deadline, call early and we will tell you plainly what is available.
Can the photos match our other regional offices?
That is a standard request. We carry one lighting and backdrop recipe to every location and try to keep the same lead photographer, so a Charlotte team page can sit beside a Chicago or Atlanta one without anyone noticing.
